• The Starbucks at SYD is gone. We're wandering in search of displaced geeks. #
• We've relocated to the Velocity Bar in SYD T3. There are a dozen crazed TWiTs here. We're going to storm the biz class lounge later. #
• @mollywood If you want unconditional love, get a dog. Teenagers are good for unconditional hate, however. Unless they need a ride. #
• I already want to move to Australia and I haven't even left the Sydney airport. #
• Helloooooo Hobart! #
• It's 7:30a and I think I'm on Australian time. We stayed up late last night eating fish and chips, drinking Boag's, and editing video. #
• @EdRoberts That was a wild guess. I don't know any numbers, but The Tech Guy is on 50+ stations including DC, SF, and LA and XM. #
• I'm told there will be a public reception in Hobart 13-April. We'll be selling prints of our pictures to Save the Tas Devil. Details soon. #
• @FredDavis We went to a sit down restaurant - but Masa-san says Flippers on the dock has Hobart's best fish and chips. On my list. #

• At the gate. No upgrade for me but at least I have my special pillow. What the short code for Twitter SMS in Australia? #
• @egoods Qantas. Flight 74. SFO->SYD - I got an email that I qualified for a space available upgrade so maybe they're waiting to see. #
• Thanks to my Clear Card, Blogger Bob of the TSA couldn't stop me. I sailed right through security. #
• @danielpunkass See if you had a dishwasher you could wash your sponges in it instead of boiling them but then you wouldn't need to. #
• @chartier No don't David! We mentioned your article in TWiT tonight. Doesn't that cheer you up. Probably mispronounced your name tho. #
• @egoods I think it's only right that the next POTUS is the most followed person on Twitter. That's a great portent for the future. #

Greetings from Sydney

Mikkel Aaland and I just arrived in Sydney on the way to Hobart, Tasmania. Qantas took great care of us on the way - it was my first time in the "bubble" up top of a 747 and I slept like a baby. Maybe that's because they give you your very own set of jammies.

Aussie Mike met us at the gate and got us into the Qantas Club. I took a much needed shower and feel like a new man. I'm headed off to the "meetup" at the SYD Starbucks. Hope to see a few of you there!

• Putting The Wire Season 5 on the iPod for the plane trip. That should get me to the International Date Line anyway. #
• Just upgraded to Wordpress 2.5 - painless upgrade and pretty new admin interface. Recommended. #
• @schappim I'll be at the SYD Starbucks til 1p, but I can't stay later. My flight to Hobart leaves at 2. Sorry! Need to do a Hobart meet too! #
• @dwwithnall Flying Quantas SFO to SYD tonight. SYD to Hobart Tuesday. Unfortunately, I'm only in Tasmania this trip, through 14 April. #
• Dream TWiT Panel? @davewiner, @jasoncalacanis, @adamcurry, @rocketboom, and Woz. And we'll talk only of Twitter. . . . Dream on! #
