New Tech Guy Stations
Sunday, October 7, 2007 at 8:47AM
The radio show is doing quite well. Not only did we sell out all advertising in 2007, we've consistently added new markets thanks to Kurt Kretzschmar and his great team at Premiere radio networks.
With the addition of the following stations we'll be in 35 markets and on XM satellite.

Congratulations!
Congratulations on your success!
Ditto... congrats. It's nice to have a regular paycheck :)
Now, how 'bout a CDN stn or 2.
BTW, Leo, is that ferry ever going to get to port? :) :)
I was wondering if there is a list that shows all the stations your show is on.
Love the show, great to hear! Any luck with affiliates in the Cleveland, OH area?
BTW, this is personally satisfying for me because when I worked in sales for a local radio station a couple of years back and TechTV went by the boards, I suggested that they reach out to you and see if there was an opportunity to distribute you via their syndication arm (that distributes to public radio nationwide)...they blew me off...said it wouldn't work! HA!
Keep up the great work Leo!
Aloha Kona!
any chance for The Tech Guy appearing in the New York City market?
Nashville needs The Tech Guy too!!
How about getting XM to broadcast channel 152 in Canada. I bought a XM to listen to the show only to find out that XM Canada does not offer channel 152.

why does it end with ?, windows now thinks its a .p3? file and it doesnt work! Been like this for two weeks or so
A url like http://www.podtrac.com/pts/redirect.mp3/twit.cachefly.net/JM-013.mp3 produces the same problem, so it has to be podtrac's problem
I listen through Shoutcast in Mexico .CNI runs all of Leo's shows day and night, it's all I listen to.Keep up the great stuff! I actually wanted to comment on the new technology I saw on Wired from M.Soft with regards to virtual 3-D creation from photos. Think of what Google will do with this one! You know it's coming. They already have the ground vehicles.
What about National Public Radio-- think Click & Clack, the Tappit Brothers, on Saturday mornings, or Ira Glass's "This American Life." You need a more aggressive agent (yourself) to get you out front and center where you belong! Remember "This Old House"? Can't you just see Dvorak in overalls, busting chops?
Glad to have you here (hear?) in Asheville, Leo!!
[...] Leo Laporte’s weekend radio show, The Tech Guy, is now being carried by 880 AM here in Ashevil.... We’re moving on up in the tech [...]
As an Asheville, NC resident I will be a regular listener. Great news for me, thanks Leo.
Congrats Leo!!!
why are the podcasts frikkin late in uploading!
Leo please note Asheville, NC has an "e" in it. Keep up the great work with all that you do!
It's one of my fav. podcasts. Congrats!
Oh, wow, Ashville, NC! I live in Florida, but I'd rather live in Ashville, so beautiful!!!

This is the town used for the 1985 movie "The Goonies" !! Loved that movie, even though I was in my 20's at the time :)
