ReCAPTCHA Me

Here's a weird kind of fame. Brady Redfearn sent me this reCAPTCHA he got recently when logging into his Live Journal page.

I use reCAPTCHA myself on the Contact me page. It's a cool project from CMU that uses user-power to type in unrecognizable words from scanned texts while discouraging robots and spammers. I think I remember a Laporte in Alexandre Dumas's The Three Musketeers. Maybe they're scanning that?

Emerging From The Hall Of Justice?

Kevin and Alex are featured in a new series of online ads for Virgin America. As bloggers. Other actual bloggers appearing in the ad are Xeni Jardin, Cory Doctorow, David Pescovitz, and Mark Frauenfelder of Boing Boing and Pete Rojas of Engadget. I hope they're getting a bunch of money for it. Or at least free tickets.

Whilst travelling across Europe this August with my fiancée, Emma, I came across some unusual posters in Italian railway stations. The photos I've attached are from Milan and Naples though the posters were also in Rome, Bologna & Venice. Is it me or the the guy have an uncanny resemblance to Leo?
